Financial Manager (part-time)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Financial Manager to join our dynamic team at UA Mental Help. This role is crucial in ensuring our organization’s fiscal health and sustainability, as well as maintaining transparency with our donors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all accounting and financial operations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard company assets and maintain financial integrity.

  • Monitor and analyze financial data, trends, expenses, revenue, and cash flow, identifying potential areas for improvement and risk mitigation and providing actionable insights to senior management.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to establish financial goals and objectives.
  • Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations and ensure compliance.
  • Engage with our donors, delivering clear and impactful financial updates on the active projects.
  • Oversee the accurate and timely processing of payroll, ensuring our dedicated staff members are compensated appropriately.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and reporting.
  • In-depth knowledge of nonprofit financial practices and regulations.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in financial management software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
